Our Story
GreenGuard was founded on a straightforward idea: the best way to create more green space is to simply buy the land. We identify plots currently on the market — from small parcels at £50,000 to substantial estates worth several million pounds — and pool community funding to purchase them outright.
Once acquired, our network of volunteers transforms each plot into a thriving public green space: wildflower meadows, community woodlands, nature reserves, and accessible parkland that everyone can enjoy for generations to come.
Where a purchased plot contains redundant or derelict buildings, we may sell that portion on to sympathetic developers. The proceeds go directly back into our land acquisition fund, allowing us to purchase more green space and maximise our environmental impact.

Volunteer Transformation

Smart Reinvestment
